The 2026 ACTFL Annual Convention and World Languages Expo takes place Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 22, 2026 at the Henry B. González Convention Center, 900 E Market St, San Antonio, TX 78205. ACTFL describes it as the most comprehensive professional development event for language educators in the U.S., with more than 6,000 language professionals expected.
Expo and program
Registration includes access to more than 600 educational sessions at all levels of instruction and an interactive exhibit hall featuring more than 200 companies. Featured spaces include the AI Corner Classroom, Digital Learning Lounge, Electronic Posters, Career Café, Wellness Studio, and ACTFL Central. The World Languages Expo is in Exhibit Halls 2–3; sessions run in meeting rooms throughout the building. Opening General Session (Friday 8:30–10:00 a.m. CT, Hall 1) features Debbie Allen; Closing General Session (Sunday 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) features Mychal-Bella Rayne Bowman.
Thursday 19 November is pre-convention only: Assembly of Delegates (invitation only, 13:00–17:00) and President’s Welcome Reception (17:30–18:30). Daily hours are not a single public gate time.

Advance full-convention rates through 28 October 2026: member $425, non-member $625, student $230. One-day onsite-only rates are listed on the convention hub. Register from the official convention site. Official headquarter hotel is the Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk, adjacent to the convention center. Nearest airport: San Antonio International (SAT).
