Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring 2027
The Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring 2027 takes place April 28 - May 2, 2027 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. SAWC Spring is held in collaboration with the Wound Healing Society (WHS) and is the official meeting of the journal Wounds, the most widely read peer-reviewed journal dedicated to wound care and wound research. The five-day meeting delivers more than 25 continuing education credits across over 80 high-impact sessions featuring more than 200 world-renowned faculty, covering acute and chronic wound prevention, management and treatment, tissue repair and regeneration, and clinical innovations. The scientific program spans WHS plenary sessions, accredited hands-on workshops, accredited symposia, innovation theaters, and abstract and scientific poster presentations. Co-chairs are Dot Weir, RN, CWON, CWS and Robert Kirsner, MD, PhD, FAAD. The co-located WCCC Wound Care Business Navigator Summit delivers policy and business-practice programming for the wound care industry, and the venue hosts an active exhibition of wound care manufacturers and providers.
