Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring 2027
SAWC Spring | WHS 2027 is the annual Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring meeting, held in collaboration with the Wound Healing Society (WHS) and presented as the official meeting of the journal Wounds. The 2027 edition takes place April 28 - May 2, 2027 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch Street, in Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The five-day program is designed for the multidisciplinary wound care community, combining accredited continuing-education sessions, hands-on workshops, innovation theaters, industry-supported symposia and abstract presentations across the full continuum of acute and chronic wound care. Highlights include evidence-based practice updates, debridement and tissue-engineering sessions, pressure-injury prevention, and a co-located Wound Care Business Navigator track covering documentation, audits, billing, policy updates and reimbursement strategy. The Wounds annual meeting, Young Investigator Award, co-located WCCC Summit and the Wound Shark Innovation Competition are all part of the SAWC Spring program. An exhibition of wound care products and services runs alongside the scientific sessions, with lunch with exhibitors and dedicated networking sessions. Sessions run across all five days, from Wednesday morning through Sunday afternoon, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
