With a special nod to the 2022 National HBCU Week, Mayor Brandon M. Scott welcomed representatives from Baltimore's two historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) - Coppin State University and Morgan State University - for the declaration of HBCU Day in Baltimore.
In partnership with the national Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, M&T Bank and the Mayor's Office of Employment Development(MOED), Mayor Brandon M. Scott celebrated the achievements of the City's Financial Empowerment Center. This is a crucial tool in the Scott Administration's efforts to increase financial mobility and ensure equitable economic development.
