SawExpo 2027
SawExpo is the international trade fair for sawing, cutting and machining technology (Trenn- und Zerspanungstechnik), organised by SawExpo Trenn- und Zerspanungstechnik Messen GmbH under managing partner Stefan Motte. The first edition was held in Augsburg in June 2018; after the change of organiser the fair moved to Messe Stuttgart, where the 2023 and 2025 editions were staged in the exhibition halls of Messe Stuttgart.
The confirmed next edition, SawExpo 2027, takes place on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 May 2027 in the exhibition halls of Messe Stuttgart, held as part of the AMB cycle in Stuttgart together with Moulding Expo. The 2027 format has been shortened to two trade fair days to fit smaller budgets and to attract more visitors over a compact schedule. Stand sizes start at 24 square metres, with the option to combine stands; registration forms and stand sizes are published on the official site.
The exhibition covers the complete chain from the steel manufacturer through the steel dealer to finished assembly: sawing machines (band, hack and circular saws), saw blades and bandsaw bands, laser and water jet cutting, shearing, turning and milling, measuring systems, bar guides, cooling lubricants and brushes, deburring and cleaning machines, contract sawmills, second hand machinery, as well as software, consulting, publishers, research institutions and the Competence Center Sawing of the University of Stuttgart together with the Fraunhofer IPA Institute. Visitor opening hours stated in the organiser's terms are 9 am to 5 pm on Tuesday through Thursday and 9 am to 4 pm on Friday; exhibitors have access from 8 am to 5 pm.
