RICS Matrics Sheffield: Networking - Pubs of Sheffield Treasure Hunt with New To Networking 2026
RICS Matrics Sheffield is hosting a Kelham Island Treasure Hunt Pub Crawl on Thursday 19 November 2026, running from 17:30 to 20:30 GMT, as part of its programme of networking events for early-career surveyors.
The event is a team-based social trail rather than a traditional lecture. Starting at The Riverside on Kelham 1 Mowbray Street, Neepsend, Sheffield, teams follow a series of clues that guide them between four venues across Kelham Island. At each pub they receive a new challenge to solve, and the answer reveals the next destination. The trail concludes at the fourth and final venue, where everyone comes together for food and a drink to mark the end of the challenge.
The format is designed to encourage networking, collaboration and engagement in an informal setting, giving participants a relaxed way to get to know fellow members while exploring one of Sheffield's most vibrant industrial quarters, the former steelworks district on the banks of the River Don. It is open to RICS Matrics members and new members to networking, and tickets are free, with places secured through the official RICS booking page.
