SME Development Bank is committed in providing finance for Thai SMEs to support their growth. We are organising a Thai pavilion for Hong Kong Fashion Week Spring/Summer to help SMEs expand internationally in the fashion industry. Ten Thai companies have joined forces to display a variety of fashion products, including women's clothes and sportswear. They also showcase collections that feature hand-painted fabrics, as well as accessories such as bags, hats, and jewellery. The positive response received by many buyers from all over the world, including from Europe, USA, and Indonesia, has excited our participating companies. HKTDC is a great organization that made the Thai pavilion at the fair possible. Our companies and buyers have had over 30 business matching meetings. This is a fantastic fair that showcases Hong Kong as a global trading center for everyone. Thai companies have the opportunity to see new trends in fashion, meet customers, and place business orders through Hong Kong Fashion Week. They will encourage more Thai SMEs and entrepreneurs to use the Hong Kong platform for business growth.

We have established new business relationships, including buyers from New Zealand, Thailand, and the Philippines. Last January, we participated in the Hong Kong Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2019. We were able to secure new customers from South Africa and Taiwan with the excellent results. We are optimistic about the outcome of this Summer/Spring edition. The Guangdong - Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is driving growth. Hong Kong Fashion Week provides a great platform to capitalize on this momentum for business expansion. We will also be participating in the next edition.
