A Taste of Cater+Event is the preview event for Cater+Event 2027, the annual catering and events conference and tradeshow organised by Informa Connect. It takes place on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at Fulton Alley, 600 Fulton Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States.
The afternoon programme is designed to give attendees a first taste of the 2027 show in New Orleans. It includes networking with conference chairs, sponsors and fellow professionals over lunch, interactive breakout sessions, and candid Ask Me Anything panels with industry figures covering hot topics such as AI integration and emerging trends. Attendees also get an inside look at what is planned for 2027, from conference sessions and venue tours to tradeshow floor highlights and evening events, plus a quick keynote presentation, live entertainment and bowling to close the afternoon.
Early registration is priced at $179, and registration includes a code for $100 off a conference pass for Cater+Event 2027, which runs March 22-25, 2027 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Space is limited. The preview runs in the afternoon; exact show hours are not published.
