What to expect at an IDP event IDP hosts many different types of events, from local office seminars to large roadshows with many participating institutions and partners. When events are busy, time with dedicated counsellors or institutions can be limited, so it is best to arrive prepared. Visitors are encouraged to research destinations, institutions and courses in advance, prepare questions for university experts and counsellors, and download the IDP Live app, which holds event information and a personal QR code for fast check-in. It is also useful to bring a passport, English language test results and academic transcripts, as the app allows documents to be uploaded in advance so they can be verified by a counsellor on the day of the event.
