The NCSL Post-Election Forum: Results, Trends and What's Next is a special one-day event hosted by the National Conference of State Legislatures on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET in Washington, D.C. The forum brings together state legislative leaders and analysts to review the results of the 2026 state legislative elections and to set out NCSL's forecast of the issues facing state legislatures in 2027. The event is hosted in person in the U.S. capital, and participation is exclusively for NCSL Foundation sponsors, so questions about access are directed to the NCSL Foundation. NCSL also runs a virtual Town Hall post-election analysis in the weeks after the in-person forum.
