Managers Conference 2026
The 28th annual Managers Conference is the Western Fairs Association and California Fairs Alliance gathering for fair managers and industry leaders from across California. It is an opportunity to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, discuss the issues shaping the industry and gain practical insights that help strengthen fairs and their communities.
Dates: 2 - 4 November 2026 Location: Sacramento, California, USA
The three-day programme opens with a CEO orientation for new to fair management, followed by the official conference kickoff and sessions on fairgrounds operations, industry advocacy and partnerships, risk and revenue management, and the CEO-board relationship. Sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday include facility rental contracts, chargebacks and protecting a fair's revenue, and the closing day of the conference. Attendees are asked to arrive by noon on Monday, 2 November and to depart around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 4 November to take part in the full conference experience.
The conference is held in Sacramento, with a managers' networking evening exploring the Arden area, Midtown, Downtown and Old Sacramento.
