Government Innovation Showcase South Australia 2027
The Government Innovation Showcase South Australia is the South Australian edition of Public Sector Network's Government Innovation Week series and the state's flagship showcase for digital government and innovation. The 2027 edition takes place in Adelaide on Tuesday, 11 May 2027, as part of Government Innovation Week South Australia (11-13 May 2027).
South Australia is entering a pivotal phase in its digital and economic acceleration, with significant investments including the introduction of the Office for AI, health modernisation, early childhood reform, policing uplift, affordable housing acceleration and innovation infrastructure. Across two focused streams - Digital Services, CX and AI Innovation, and Tech, Data and AI Integration - attendees explore how agencies are applying emerging technologies, redesigning services, modernising core systems and strengthening data foundations. Sessions highlight practical examples of AI in healthcare, human services, policing, planning, agriculture and justice, while interactive roundtables support deeper cross-agency collaboration on critical issues including emergency response, environmental sustainability, justice system modernisation, research partnerships and workforce capability.
The showcase is aimed at executive leaders, data and AI leaders, service delivery and innovation teams from South Australian government agencies. Registration is free for government attendees and opens soon. The organiser has not yet published the specific venue, floor plan or agenda for the 2027 edition - only the Adelaide city location is confirmed - so the event is attached to the Adelaide city venue.
