The site featured the Grand Ring by Sou Fujimoto—certified as the world's largest wooden architectural structure—dividing the venue into three thematic zones: Pavilion World, Water World, and Green World.

• Self-built (Type A): Over 40 countries including Japan, USA, China, France, Germany, UK, and others built dedicated pavilions.
• Small (Type B): Shared pavilions for nations like Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, and the EU.
• Commons A–F: Collective pavilions grouping smaller nations by region.
• Signature Pavilions: Eight themed pavilions by notable producers exploring life, technology, and future society.
• Private Sector Pavilions: Including Gundam Next Future, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Sumitomo, and others.
• Domestic Pavilions: Women's Pavilion (with Cartier), Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, and Kansai Pavilion.
