METAL JAPAN is the leading metal industry expo that gathers all kinds of technologies related to high-performance metals such as aluminium, copper, titanium, magnesium, precious metals, steel and other metal materials. Metal processing machinery, analysis and inspection equipment, and steel distribution are also showcased, bringing together the leading companies in the metal industry and manufacturers.
The show is organised as a specialist exhibition inside Highly-functional Material Week, the umbrella event made up of dedicated fairs for advanced film, plastics, metal, ceramics, adhesives, paint and coating, sustainable materials and material analysis, so visitors can meet many professionals from different fields at once. "Japan's largest" refers to the exhibitor number among trade shows with the same concept.
For the 2027 season METAL JAPAN runs three editions: Nagoya at Port Messe Nagoya (Feb 17-19, 2027, 10:00-17:00), Osaka at INTEX Osaka (May 12-14, 2027, 10:00-17:00) and Tokyo at Makuhari Messe (Oct 27-29, 2027, opening hours to be announced). The Tokyo edition is the next date for this listing. The show is organised by RX Japan GK, Japan's largest exhibition organiser; exhibit and visitor registration is free, and exhibitor enquiries are handled through the official exhibitor information request form.
