This year, the biennial Water Loss Asia conference (WLA 2022) returns to a virtual format on 8-10 November. International Water Association (IWA), Water Loss Specialist Group, supports WLA 2022. This 3-day event brings together leaders and experts in the Non-Revenue Water industry (NRW). It focuses on control of non-revenue water by deep explorations of digital technology and artificial Intelligence available today.
The pandemic had a devastating effect on the water industry, causing unprecedented delays and changes in work methods. It has also accelerated digital transformation. Water service providers face both a challenge and an opportunity in the resumption commercial and social activities. Adopting the right digital technologies to ensure long-term water security can help rebuild a water sector that is more resilient and sustainable.
