Spotlight TravelExpo: Mombasa (Kenya) is the first edition of the Spotlight on Africa travel trade series to be staged on the Kenyan Coast. It is organised by Houston Travel Marketing Services under the Spotlight Workshops brand and brings African, overseas and Indian Ocean islands tourism suppliers together with Mombasa-based tour operators, travel agents, destination management companies, corporate travel planners and other tourism buyers in a free-flow table-top appointment format.

Focus
The Mombasa edition focuses on promoting regional East African tourism as well as outbound travel to the rest of Africa, the Indian Ocean islands and overseas destinations. Exhibitors span Kenyan Coast, Zanzibar and Indian Ocean resorts, African hotel groups, Tanzanian and Kenyan safari lodges, Nairobi hotels seeking Kenyan Coast business, tourism boards, regional and international airlines, tour operators and conference organisers. Buyers are drawn from Mombasa-based tour operators and travel agents, corporate travel planners and the Kenya Coast outbound market, with KATA (Kenya Association of Travel Agents), KATO (Kenya Association of Tour Operators), the Kenya Hotels Association (Coastal) and the Kenya Coast Tourism Association supporting promotion of the event.
Participation
Travel agents and tour operators register free of charge until 18h00 on Sunday 22 November 2026; buyers registering from Monday 23 November pay KSH 2,500 / USD 20 payable in cash or MPESA at registration. A table costs USD 900 / ZAR 16,200 and includes two representatives, morning coffee break and buffet lunch, a 50-word entry in the official catalogue and the full attendee contact list; additional representatives cost USD 30 / ZAR 550 each. Half-board accommodation is available at PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa at KSH 18,000 single or KSH 24,000 double per night.
