We have decided to postpone for one year the 9th International Hunting, Weapons and Outdoor Sports Fair, Istanbul Prohunt, in accordance with our forecasts for the future and the developments of the past weeks. The dates will be announced shortly.
Istanbul Prohunt was established in 2012 and has been a fair for Turkish hunting weapons and outdoor sports industry. Its primary goal is to give visitors from all corners of the globe the experience of being part of a community and make them feel at home. It was to make sure it hosted an event that is worthy of its reputation in this industry. These targets were not achieved despite negotiations with leading companies in the sector and major distributors from abroad. This was due to the Covid-19 outbreak in Turkey and travel restrictions by countries that are very important for the sector. Our fair was postponed after realizing that it is impossible to organize a fair worthy the name Istanbul Prohunt under the July 2021 conditions.
We will continue to be the EFEM Fairs family in 2022. Our main motivation is to support our visitors and participates at our fair. We will be meeting again in Istanbul Prohunt, even if it's late or difficult.
