Auckland Garden DesignFest is a biennial open-garden event in Auckland, New Zealand, run by the Garden Design Society of New Zealand. For one weekend, professionally designed private gardens across Auckland open to the public, with the designers on hand to discuss planting palettes, materials, structure and site challenges. The 2027 edition runs Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 November 2027. Tickets cover individual gardens or the full programme, guided bus tours connect the gardens, and proceeds go to chosen charities that support children and young people. The event also gives garden designers a platform to present their work and craft, with sponsor and volunteer programmes open ahead of the weekend.
