The China Import and Export Fair Complex will host the 28th edition Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition from 9-12 June 2023. GILE 2022, as one of the most important fairs in the lighting industry saw a large increase in visitors along with the concurrent Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology. Both fairs saw a significant increase in visitors, with 128,202 from 58 different countries and regions.

GILE 2023 will expand into areas A,B, and the newly created area D at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou. This edition will bring together more than 2,600 exhibitors. GILE 2023, along with Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology concurrently held in Guangzhou (GEBT), will cover a total area of 22 halls.

The show's theme, "New era - new opportunity", was designed to inspire industry players to explore new lighting applications. GILE 2022 covered nine themes that discussed how new technologies could change the lives of people and how industry players could use them to create new business.
