Bharat Footwear & Leather Expo 2027
The Bharat Footwear & Leather Expo (BFLEX) is India's flagship B2B sourcing and trade exhibition for the footwear and leather industry, organised by the Council for Leather Exports (CLE) under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, with support under the Market Access Initiative. It was founded in 1984 as the Delhi International Leather Expo (DILEX) reverse buyer-seller meet and was officially rebranded Bharat Footwear and Leather Expo at the closing ceremony of the 6th edition.
The 7th edition takes place on 15-16 March 2027 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi 110001, India, with exhibition hours from 10:00 to 18:00 on both days. The venue is one of Asia's largest MICE campuses, spanning 123.51 acres with multiple exhibition halls, 24 technology-enabled meeting rooms, a 7,000-seat indoor venue and underground parking for more than 5,000 vehicles, located at Gate No. 9 on Mathura Road with direct Blue Line metro access from Supreme Court station.
The 7th edition opens the show to international exhibitors for the first time, with companies from Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Cambodia, Italy, Spain and the UK expected to take part. Organisers expect a minimum of 400 Indian exhibitors and 250-300 foreign buyers alongside Indian buying houses, agents and retailers. The 2025 edition at Yashobhoomi (IICC Dwarka) recorded 220 Indian companies, 239 foreign buyers from nearly 52 countries, 4,092 business meetings and an estimated INR 1,123 crore of business generated. A new Footwear and Leather Products Fashion Show and Trade Dinner are also planned alongside the exhibition.
Product categories cover leather footwear, leather garments, leather goods and accessories, leather gloves, non-leather footwear, footwear components, finished leather, footwear machinery, saddlery and harness, safety and defence products, Kolhapuri chappals and leather handicrafts. The show runs for two days and is open to importers, wholesalers, distributors, departmental and chain stores, retailers, brands and sourcing professionals. Visitor registration is free for qualified trade professionals.
