The Western China Dental Equipment & Materials Exhibition and Dental Academic Conference - commonly known as CWD, the Western China International Dental Show (WCISE) - is the leading dental industry platform for central and western China. Founded in 2001 and organized by Informa Markets Chengdu, the event pairs a full-chain dental trade exhibition with one of China's largest dental academic conferences and has now reached its 25th edition.

The 25th edition runs 22-25 April 2027 (Thursday-Sunday) at China Western International Expo City, No. 88 Fuzhou Road East, Shuangliu District, Chengdu, Sichuan, China. The 2027 show is planned across five sections - exhibition, theme forums, academic conference, hands-on training classes and concurrent activities - covering 45,000 square meters with more than 600 exhibitors, 40,000+ professional visitors and 300+ specialized academic conferences. Visiting hours for the 2027 edition have not yet been published on the official website.
Last edition
The 24th edition was held 8-11 April 2026 at the same venue, opening on 8 April and closing on 11 April after four days, with more than 600 domestic and international exhibitors across eleven showcase zones.
Program
Each edition runs more than 300 dental academic conferences covering 29 specialties - implantation, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, restoration, prevention and oral aesthetics - including the West China International Dental Symposium, the "Hand in Hand" practical training series run with West China Stomatological Hospital of Sichuan University since 2013, the Sichuan-Chongqing academic conference, the Western Private Dental Innovation Conference, case-sharing competitions and an AI oral scanning contest.
Exhibition scope
Exhibit zones cover Chinese brands, international brands, China Dental Valley (Ziyang), digital dentistry, implant brands, orthodontic brands, oral care, imaging products, dental materials and agents/distributors - the full dental industry chain from equipment and materials to software, clinic furniture and dental laboratory (prosthetic) processing.

Supporting organizations include the Western China Stomatological Association presidents-secretaries joint working conference, the Sichuan Stomatological Association, the Shaanxi Stomatological Association, the Chongqing Stomatological Association, West China School of Stomatology (Sichuan University), the Third Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University, the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, China Dental Valley and the Ziyang Hi-Tech Industrial Park management committee.

China Western International Expo City, No. 88 Fuzhou Road East, Shuangliu District, Chengdu. Metro Line 18 runs directly to Xibo Cheng (West Expo City) Station, exit C; from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, take Line 19 to Tianfu Business District and transfer to Line 6; from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Line 18 direct. The venue is about 33 km from Shuangliu International Airport and 53 km from Tianfu International Airport by taxi.
