Dixie National Rodeo | 2027
The Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo is one of the largest rodeo and livestock events east of the Mississippi River, held each February in Jackson, Mississippi. Originally established as an educational tool for the state's cattle producers, it now combines a major rodeo with junior and open livestock shows across a multi-week run. Rodeo events include bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding, with champion cowboys competing on Harper and Morgan rodeo stock. Each rodeo performance is followed by a concert from a country music headliner. The 2027 edition runs February 12-20, 2027, with no rodeo on February 15 and 16. The accompanying Dixie National Livestock Show includes the Junior Round-up and the Open Show.
