JAPAN BUILD — International Building & Home Week (Tokyo)
Japan’s leading trade fair for the building and housing industries, organised by RX Japan and held twice a year in Tokyo and Osaka. The next Tokyo edition is 2–4 December 2026, 10:00–17:00, at Tokyo Big Sight. The following Osaka edition is scheduled for 25–27 August 2027 at INTEX Osaka.
The week comprises 11 concurrent shows covering smart-building technology, home AI/IoT, building materials, housing equipment, renovation, construction technology and real-estate IT. Highlights include:
- Building Material & Equipment Expo — insulation, flooring, exterior walls, roofing, wood and structural materials, architectural hardware, earthquake/fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and landscaping.
- Smart Home Expo — IoT home equipment, smart locks, security, HEMS and ZEH solutions.
- Housing DX Expo — DX for home builders, housing CAD, BIM, VR presentations and construction-management systems.
- Green Building Expo, Building Renovation Expo, Smart Building Expo, Building Maintenance Expo, Construction Site Innovation Expo, Digital Construction Expo, Real Estate Tech Expo, and Apartment Management Support EXPO.
Typical visitors include housing manufacturers, home builders, architectural firms, renovation companies, developers, general contractors, trading companies and facility owners.
Visitor registration for the Tokyo show is free until 25 November (Japan time); after the deadline admission is JPY 5,500 (incl. tax). VIP registration is available for manager-level and above. Exhibiting information can be downloaded from the official site.
