Liverpool Anime & Gaming Con (Winter 2027)
30–31 January 2027 at Aintree Racecourse, Ormskirk Road, Aintree, Liverpool, L9 5AS. The venue is next to Aintree station; staff greet visitors on the approach. By car, the racecourse sits on the A59, about one mile from the M57 and M58 (links to the M62 and M6); follow A59 towards Liverpool and yellow/tourism signs to the car parks.
Organised by Animeleague, this is a two-day anime, gaming, cosplay and comics convention billed as part of the UK’s most popular anime cons. Typical programme areas include guests and performers, exhibitors and merch, video gaming, an anime theatre, tabletop gaming, stage events and panels, cosplay activities, karaoke and parties.
Each UK city usually hosts its Anime Gaming Con once a year. Named guests for Liverpool were listed as “coming soon” at verification. Opening times can vary by city; Animeleague’s FAQ guide is VIP/early bird from 10:00, standard tickets from 11:30, on-the-door from 12:00, with most daytime areas (video gaming, exhibitors) usually closing around 18:00 and the main stage continuing into the evening. Always check the event timetable or the Animeleague app (www.animeleague.app) for Liverpool-specific hours.
