Taste and Toast is an annual fundraising festival held at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. The 2025 edition featured a rain‑cleared outdoor evening in the summer gardens, with over 30 food and beverage vendors ranging from craft breweries (e.g., BlackStack Brewing, Badger Hill Brewing) to specialty food trucks (e.g., New Scenic Cafe, Arepa Bar). Attendees voted for winners, with New Scenic Cafe taking Best in Show, Food Gallery Catering winning Best Taste, and BlackStack Brewing earning Best Toast. Live entertainment included B2R bands, Salsa del Soul, and the jazz quintet The Barn Cats. Presenting sponsors and volunteers were acknowledged, and the event’s success was credited to weather forecasting by Weathervane.
