The date for the next Warsaw International Book Fair has been announced as May 28, 2023. The Fair will be held at the Palace of Culture and Science and Plac Defilad between May 23-26 2024. Italy will be its Guest of Honor.We are delighted with the excellent turnout by exhibitors and visitors at this year's event. Our diverse literary and commercial program, our rich publishing offer and our new spatial arrangement were all well received by the audience. Pavilions were not only set up in front the Main Entrance of the Palace but also in the Kinoteka Multiplex. And the stands within the Palace had a new and improved layout. All attractions were free, and the attendance was higher thanks to this policy. It is great to see that more teenagers and young adults are attending the Fair. In future editions, we will continue to cater to this audience segment. Publishers and participants have given us very positive feedback. Our formula is a success, and we are thrilled about it. It consists of several key ingredients. This winning combination makes us stand out from other local or national events. The next edition is set for May 23-26 2024. He says that Italy will be the Guest of Honor.***Warsaw International Book Fair took place from May 25-28, both inside the Palace of Culture and Science and also outside in front of Kinoteka Multiplex and the Main Entrance (for the very first time). Nearly 500 bestselling authors and exhibitors from Poland, as well as fourteen other countries, including Austria, Azerbaijan and China, France, Germany and Norway, attended the biggest literary event of this year. During four days, nearly 1000 authors, illustrators, publishers, and managers of the publishing industry met with the public. Nearly 270 meetings were held on three stages and seven halls, in addition to more than 500 events that took place at the publisher's pavilions. During the Fair, there were close to 800 events. The Warsaw International Book Fair is expected to have attracted over 100k visitors in 2018. The Warsaw International Book Fair attracted more than 100k visitors this year.
