Minnesota Fringe Festival 2027

The 34th annual Minnesota Fringe Festival takes place August 5-15, 2027 across theaters in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis, Minnesota).

Minnesota Fringe is the Midwest's largest performing arts festival. It grew from 52 shows in 1994 to nearly 560 performances of over 99 shows in 2025. Festival shows run under 60 minutes, with about a half-hour break between performances. Venues are often clustered to make traveling between shows easier.

Tickets and access

Attendees can buy single-show tickets online or at the venue, 5- and 10-show passes, or become a Fringe with Benefits member for VIP access to the entire festival.

Artists

Applications for the next festival open December 1. Minnesota Fringe invests theater rentals, staffing, and marketing in every selected show; producers earn a majority of box office revenue.
