Known as America's Friendliest Marathon, the Allianz Richmond Marathon is celebrating its 49th running on November 14, 2026. The official site countdown and meta description both state November 14, 2026; the marathon page countdown widget uses 2026-11-14 07:00:00.

Thu Nov 12: Health & Fitness Expo / packet pick-up (3–7 p.m.)
Fri Nov 13: Health & Fitness Expo / packet pick-up (11 a.m.–8 p.m.)
Sat Nov 14: Marathon start 7:00 a.m. at 1st & Broad St.; Half Marathon 7:15 a.m. (7th & Broad); 8k 7:30 a.m. (8th & Broad); Post Race Party on Brown's Island 8 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; marathon course closes 2 p.m.

This listing uses the official race day (November 14, 2026) only — not the CMS registration/page-modified span.

Course

USATF-sanctioned and certified; frequent Boston Marathon qualifier. Scenic/historic Richmond routing along and across the James River with a renowned downhill finish. Course open 7 hours (16:02/mile pace required). Registration limited to 7,200 full-marathon participants; as of this refresh the full marathon is at capacity with waitlist open.

CMS correction

CMS previously stored 2026-07-06 → 2026-11-14. July 6 matches a homepage article:modified_time (content update / registration window), not race day. Replaced with the official race date 2026-11-14.
