FITUR 2027
FITUR (International Tourism Fair) is the premier global platform for tourism professionals, scheduled for 20‑24 January 2027 in Madrid’s IFEMA. The fair hosts over 10 000 exhibitors, 155 000 trade participants and 100 000 general visitors from 161 countries. It features specialised zones such as Fitur Cruises (sustainable marine tourism), Fitur LGBT+ (high‑spending niche market), Fitur Lingua (language tourism), Fitur Know‑How Export (internationalisation tools), Fitur Screen (media exposure), Fitur Sports, Fitur Talent (recruitment), Fitur TechY (technology and sustainability), Fitur Woman (women’s role in tourism), Fitur 4all (accessible tourism), and Fitur Experience (experiential travel). Awards recognise outstanding stands (Best Stand, Sustainable Stand), active tourism projects, inclusive initiatives (4all), and visionary presentations (Jorge Vila Fradera). Puerto Rico will be the Partner Country for 2027, boosting its visibility. The event includes conferences, a summit on communication, and the FITURNEXT 2026 Challenge on water‑sustainable tourism.
