For students considering higher education, attending the 5th Annual Seattle Black College Expo could be a transformative experience. Scheduled for Saturday, November 5th, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Renton High School, this event offers an excellent opportunity for high school seniors, juniors, and college transfer students to engage directly with representatives from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), as well as a variety of other colleges and educational programs. It's essential for students to come prepared: bring your transcripts and, if applicable, ACT or SAT test scores. This way, you can receive answers and possibly get accepted right on the spot, saving valuable application time.
In addition to the academic opportunities, the event promises a vibrant atmosphere filled with entertainment. Attendees can look forward to engaging performances including a Step Show and a Dance Off competition for cash prizes.
