About
Seaport Beer Fest is Halifax’s outdoor waterfront tasting festival for craft beer, cider and other beverages. Tickets include all festival samples, a souvenir mug, and live music. Food and merchandise are sold separately on site. The event is fully outdoors, with little rain cover, and runs rain or shine. It is a 19+ event (no children or pets). There is no re-entry.
The programme typically spans four sessions over three days, with 300+ beers and ciders to sample plus 100+ sodas, seltzers and premixed cocktails (FizzFest). International craft beer pavilions have included Bristol and Irish brewers. Music is provided by DJ Karate Kactus. Beer-friendly food is available from on-site vendors (including Smokinstein Food Truck).
VIP tickets include a souvenir glass, all samples, and access to the festival floor one hour early, plus limited and specialty products.
Charity and volunteers
Organizers state that $55,000+ has been raised since 2007, with 100% of merch sales going to Adsum for Women & Children and matching by the festival. Volunteers can contact [email protected]. Sponsor enquiries: [email protected].
