Cardiff Christmas Market returns to the heart of Cardiff city centre from Thursday 12 November to Wednesday 23 December 2026. Organised by Craft*Folk for 31 years, it is an outdoor alternative shopping experience where visitors buy original work directly from makers.

Each year around 70 wooden stalls host a rolling programme of more than 200 individual businesses selling arts and crafts plus seasonal food and drink. Stalls are sited in the pedestrian areas of St John Street, Working Street, Trinity Street and Hills Street. Not every exhibitor trades for the full run; a full list with individual trading dates is published on the market website closer to the event.

Opening hours (official): Monday to Saturday 10:00–18:00, with late opening until 19:00 every Thursday in December; Sunday 10:00–17:00.

Craft*Folk also offers Taster Stalls for new makers. Admission is a free outdoor public market. Official site: cardiffchristmasmarket.com.
