Expo Vino Costa Rica 2027
Expo Vino Costa Rica
Expo Vino Costa Rica (Expovino) is the leading wine event in Costa Rica, organised by EKA Consultores Internacional and produced with Apetito magazine. It brings wine importers and distributors together with producers of complementary gourmet products - cheeses, delicatessen, cold cuts, glassware and chocolatiers - in a single hall where exhibitors meet professional buyers and, on the public days, wine enthusiasts.
Dates and opening hours
The next edition runs from Thursday 14 to Saturday 16 October 2027 at the Centro de Convenciones de Costa Rica. Thursday 14 October is reserved for restaurants, hotels and supermarkets, while Friday 15 and Saturday 16 October open to the general public. Show hours are 15:00 to 21:00.
Visitor profile
On-trade buyers attend on the trade day: owners, managers, food and beverage managers, chefs, sommeliers, maitre d' and bartenders. Off-trade buyers include supermarket purchasing managers, liquor store owners, wholesalers and distributors, alongside institutional suppliers and embassies. The public days are aimed at consumers interested in discovering new flavours and aromas.
Programme and format
The event combines tastings, talks and guided wine tastings that showcase the brands on show, with the aim of promoting wine culture and business development around wine: restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, wine bars and liquor stores. Each exhibitor space is a 2 m x 2 m area with a table and two chairs; structures are not permitted and use of the provided table is mandatory. The organiser reports 2,816 visitors and 57 booth tables for the previous edition.
