Madison, Wisconsin is now home to the best game design convention in the country. Welcome to Protospiel, the nation's best game design convention.
There is no better way to receive professional feedback as a game developer from other designers. Around 100 designers will be in attendance, so you can play-test your designs multiple times throughout the weekend. The friendships that you will make are ones that will last a life time.
Protospiel will be the best experience for you if you are a gamer that likes to experiment with new ideas. In just one weekend, you'll be able to view dozens if no hundreds of new designs. Plus, you can shape the designs before they are released in stores or on Kickstarter.
You must be immunized to attend Protospiel Madison. You will be turned away if you do not have the vaccine. Refusing to accept people who do not have the vaccine will result in no refunds.
Protospiel allows you to bring your board or card prototypes and play them with other designers, publishers, and play testers. This is a great opportunity to test your game, and then fix it. No matter how polished your game is, it doesn't really matter. The Game Crafter provides free prototyping material that allows many games to be made on-site at Protospiel. There are many games that are being tested before they go to Kickstarter or are published.
