The attendance rate of 6700 was slightly higher than in 2019. The 100 or so exhibitors who participated in the event were extremely satisfied.100 exhibitors expected 6700 visitors. With 50 production lines that were aimed at practice and many world and European premieres, the industry was welcomed with open arms. Hunkeler Innovationdays demonstrated their importance in the printing industry. Special mention should be made of the high level of internationality amongst visitors who came from over 100 different countries to Lucerne. All participants were happy with the average stay of more than 2 days. All exhibitors were committed to presenting their highlights, and the presence of experts was evident in the high level of visitors.In Halls 1 & 2 of the Lucerne Exhibition Centre, the latest digital printing and finishing solutions were showcased in the spirit of "Next Level Automation". Hunkeler AG celebrated 100 years of existence last year. The latest highly automated developments highlight the innovative strength of the company. Hunkeler AG presented its Starbook book solution, which allows for the production of digitally-printed books in small and medium print runs. The Starbook solutions are highly cost effective.The Innovationdays are still true to the original purpose and character of the event, despite the growth. They continue to be a meeting place for industry partners to discuss high-performance digital finishing and printing, as well as to present visitors with solution scenarios that have a strong relevance to the real world.The next Hunkeler Innovationdays is scheduled for 24 to 27 Febuary 2025.
