Euroluce, the International Lighting Exhibition, was first held in 1976. With more than 300 exhibitors from the world's leading brands, it narrates how light has evolved in the home, sparking innovation, research, and reflection about the design culture of this field. In fact, light is becoming increasingly important in our hyperconnected world. It's also essential to sustainability and digitisation, as well holistic thinking about people's wellbeing. Light influences our perceptions as well as our performance, preferences, behaviors and moods. Lighting designers are now challenged to not only reflect on the technological advancements but also the philosophical aspects of light in order come up with innovative concepts for the future. The wide variety of products on display beautifully illustrates this. They include the latest lighting devices in the areas of outdoor, indoor and interior lighting, theatrical lighting, events lighting, and industrial lighting.
