The 19th Global Slag Conference & Exhibition will take place on 28-29 April 2027 at the Parkhotel Quellenhof Aachen, Monheimsallee 52, 52062 Aachen, Germany, under the theme 'Maximising profits from slag'.
Organised by the Global Slag / Global Cement team, the annual conference allows all attendees to maximise their profits from slag - both ferrous and non-ferrous - keeping them up-to-date with the state of the art across the industry while offering extensive networking and business-building opportunities for producers and users of slag and slag-based products.

Registration
The registration fee includes attendance at the conference and exhibition, the conference proceedings book (including delegate names/company/country and all available presenter slides in PDF), participation in networking/speed-dating sessions, a delegate name badge, the special distribution magazine, coffee breaks and snacks, lunches, the welcome and farewell receptions, and attendance at the Global Slag Awards Dinner. Registration opens in November 2026.
The event is supported by slag association partners including Euroslag, the National Slag Association, the Slag Cement Association, the Australasian (iron and steel) Slag Association, the Nippon Slag Association and the Brazil Steel Institute.
