Billed as the largest women's running event in Indiana, the Indiana Women's Running Festival offers three distances — Half Marathon, 10K and the Inspiring Women 5K. The half marathon is one of the ten largest female-only half marathons in the US and is the only women's half marathon that pays a top-20 cash purse.
Runners enjoy beautiful fall miles through Carmel parks and along the popular Monon Greenway, with age-group awards three deep in all three distances, and a festive post-race party in Civic Square that includes free pancakes, beverages, treats and adult beverages. Free parking is available at the Expo and on race day.
Entry opens to women of all ages (10K/Half open to ages 10+, 5K open to ages 8+). 34 US states were represented at the 2025 edition. Official charity partners include the Indiana Women In Need (IWIN) Foundation, the Twisted Pink Foundation and the Dove Recovery House for Women.
