Mesa County Fair 2027
Mesa County Fair
The Mesa County Fair is the annual county fair of Mesa County, Colorado, held at the Mesa County Fairgrounds on US-50 in Grand Junction. The 2027 edition runs for five days, from 13 to 17 July 2027.
What happens at the fair
The fair is a family-oriented agricultural and community event packed with 4-H animals and FFA livestock shows, open class exhibits, grandstand events, a carnival with five days of rides, vendors, food trucks, free entertainment and live music. Local schools, clubs and businesses take part alongside the county's 4-H programme, and a buyer registration programme supports the livestock auction.
Audience and setting
The event brings together Mesa County residents and visitors from across Colorado's Western Slope. The fairgrounds provide outdoor show rings, exhibit halls and grandstand space, with sponsor hotels in the Horizon Drive District for overnight stays. Daily free shows for the 2027 edition are announced in spring 2027.
Practical information
Dates, schedules, vendor and sponsor information, and the 4-H and FFA timetable are published on the official Mesa County Fair website. Visitors should note the fair's policy that pets are not allowed on the grounds.
