The 29th Annual Royal Medieval Faire will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11 am to 6 pm at Waterloo Park West (cash‑only entry). The event recreates the Kingdom of Mearth with family‑friendly attractions: live storytelling, swordplay demonstrations, music and dance performances, interactive games, and a variety of vendors selling food, beverages, crafts, and medieval‑themed merchandise. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes, and the grounds will feature period decorations. In addition to entertainment, the Faire supports the local Food Bank of Waterloo Region; visitors can donate non‑perishable items at the gate. Past highlights include a 2024 Autumn Festival storyline and a 2025 wedding‑anniversary plot featuring royal characters and a matchmaking contest for Lady Farrell the Healer.
