Sŵn Festival 2026

Sŵn Festival is a three-day, multi-venue new-music festival held in the heart of Cardiff, proudly organised by the team at Clwb Ifor Bach. In 2026 the festival celebrates its 19th year, showcasing the hottest emerging artists from Wales, the UK, and beyond.

Highlights

• Hundreds of bands play across the city across three full days of programming (Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 October 2026).
• Multi-venue format spanning multiple grassroots venues around Cardiff City Centre; the 2026 venues are announced closer to the festival.
• 18+ festival — ID required at the wristband exchange and to pass each venue's security checks.
• Wristband exchange opens from midday (10am on Saturday) with music starting in the afternoon/evening.

Running alongside the festival is Sŵn Connect — a music industry conference packed with inspiring talks, expert advice, and insights from professionals across the industry.
