Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon & 1/2 Marathon

USATF-certified road race held each October in Columbus, Ohio. Race weekend spans two days: the Jesse Owens 5K, 1 Mile and Kids Run on Saturday, and the full marathon and half-marathon on Sunday morning, starting from North Bank Park in downtown Columbus.

Nationwide Children's Hospital is the title beneficiary. 2026 marks the 15th year of this partnership, and more than $15 million has been raised for the hospital, including millions from the Children's Champions fundraising athletes. The event welcomes everyone from first-timers to seasoned marathoners and families.

The weekend also includes the Health & Fitness Expo and packet pickup, held in Hall D of the Greater Columbus Convention Center (400 N High St). The fast, flat course passes through German Village, Bexley, Ohio State, Upper Arlington and Grandview Heights neighborhoods.
