Every November, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is held in Toronto. The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair offers a variety of local foods and animals, as well as a lot of fun for visitors and exhibitors.
The Royal is a combined indoor agricultural fair and international competition for equestrians. It's the largest in the world. The Royal is the place where Canadian and International breeders, growers, and exhibitors are named champions. Hundreds of thousands of visitors come to learn, shop, compete and enjoy a good time with family and friends.
Kay is the Royal Ambassador for 2023. A Polled Dorset yearling yearling ewe of one and a half years old. Kay is not new to the Royal. Kay made her debut last year, representing 100 years of sheep in the Royal Gala celebrating its 100th anniversary. She won Reserve Champion at the Royal Sheep Show in 2022. Kay will also be competing in the Fair this year, alongside her ambassador duties. Kay is owned Ridgetown Ontario Brien Family - descendants of J.D Brien who was one of Fair's founding members. Kay is a part of the Fair's history, just as the other beloved Royal Ambassadors such as Winston the Percheron Cross and Turbo the Goat. Lil' Ben, the miniature horse, and the rooster duo The Royal Duke and The Royal Roy are also included.
