The Lowcountry Oyster Festival is the world's largest oyster festival, hosted by the Charleston Restaurant Foundation at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The 42nd Annual edition takes place on Sunday, February 28, 2027. Highlights include over 45,000 pounds of oysters, live music on the main stage, raw oyster eating and shucking contests, wine, a selection of domestic and imported beers, specialty cocktails, a Children's Area (Pluff-a-Palooza), and a Food Court showcasing local favorite restaurants. Parking is free; the Main Entrance is located at 1235 Long Point Road.
