Robert Sansone, 17 years old, from Fort Pierce, FL, has won $75,000 in the top prize for the 2022.
Science is a competition that brings together students from across the state of Florida.
Florida students are innovative in many different ways.
Students from all over the state compete in a variety of engineering categories.
Good luck and congratulations to the 2024 SSEF finalists! Florida Polytechnic University is Florida's only 100% public STEM state university. They are offering a campus tour for SSEF participants. Come and explore our beautiful campus in Lakeland. You will be able to hear from the admissions staff about what it takes to be a FL Poly Phoenix, how to apply to college, and why FL Poly is unique. Our student ambassadors will take you on a tour of the campus, and then we'll provide lunch for free!
As a participant, it was an amazing experience. I won funding for college, got to see places I would never have thought of as a kid and saw things I'd never seen before.
