The law enforcement community is responsible for interacting with all segments in their community in an impartial and fair manner. The quality of the police service and its image will be improved by familiarizing yourself with communication styles, customs and language of different cultures, ethnicities and non-traditional groups. This course will provide several strategies to improve community relations and diversity in the workforce.
Scholarships available for tuition. *Includes materials fee of $150. Please fill out the scholarship application to apply for a grant. The first criteria for awarding scholarships is financial need.
This course is designed for those with previous training experience.
The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement offers credit to law enforcement personnel who attend this course.
