This event, now known as the "Beast of the Southeast," has grown to be one of the most important International Dragon Boat Festivals. It brings teams and spectators together from all over Florida and the Southeast region. This event attracted over 5,000 spectators and participants in 2022, and continues to grow. Come join us for this fun event in the community featuring Dragon Boat Racing, Arts & Crafts, Food Vendors, and much more!

It's easy to form a dragonboat team! Your team registration includes a training session in which we teach you how to race and paddle. The practice sessions and the race day will include all necessary equipment, such as a paddle, a life vest, a drum, and a coach/steersperson. You can invite your friends, family, coworkers to this event. There are two team options consisting of either 10 or 20 players.
This 3-acre park offers a variety of family activities, including swimming, water skiing, fishing, picnicking, and just enjoying the sun. The park is easily accessible, located just off US-41 and with nearby paved parking.
