Design Shanghai returns to the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, 1000 Middle Yan'an Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai, from 4 to 7 March 2027, for its 14th edition. Asia's leading international design event, organised by Clarion Events, gathers the world's most influential design brands, galleries and studios for a cross-disciplinary programme.
The show is structured around four core sections: Furniture & Lighting, Kitchen, Bathroom & Systems Design, and Living & Lifestyle, alongside New Materials & Applications. The 2026 edition presented more than 500 selected brands from over 20 countries and regions and marked the show's return to its birthplace after a six-year hiatus, with a renewed emphasis on quality, international curation and immersive exhibition design.
Curated features extend the fair beyond the halls, including TALENTS, Made in JDZ, Beyond Craft, Collectible Design & Art and Materials First. Two industry forums run alongside the exhibition: the KOHLER Design Shanghai Global Design Conference and the CMF Conference, covering material innovation, colour, craft and sustainable design. The wider city-wide Design in the City programme extends the show's curatorial programme across Shanghai's creative districts, with galleries, studios, showrooms and public design events.
