Georgia Science and Engineering Fair 2026
The 78th Georgia Science & Engineering Fair (GSEF) runs March 26‑28, 2026 at the Classic Center in Athens, GA. Middle‑ and high‑school students from across the state showcase original STEM research projects, compete for awards, and network with professional scientists, engineers, and graduate‑student judges (≈300 volunteers). The fair is an official Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair affiliate and features standard research categories (biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, computer science, etc.) plus special awards sponsored by universities, businesses, and organizations that highlight specific research areas. Participants qualify by winning at regional fairs, and judges evaluate projects for advancement to the international competition. Sponsorship and donations support the event and special award programs.
