The Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, one of Cape Town's most famous landmarks, is easy to reach. However, if you are travelling outside the city centre in the morning hours it may be a challenge. Kirstenbosch is 13 km away from Cape Town city centre and well-signposted along all major roads.
Shuttle buses and luxury air-conditioned coaches regularly travel between the airport and hotels, as well as the city center and the majority of major tourist destinations. Taxi and Uber are available from the downtown area. The Citysightseeing bus (hop on/hop of) passes through Kirstenbosch.
